A Larger Llandovery
Llandovery is the service centre for the upper Tywi valley region. This market town suffers from population decline and the closure of its secondary school. Too important to its area to be allowed to decay further, Llandovery needs more people and jobs, especially those who may contribute to the local economy.
Therefore new housing is needed. But new development must fit in and should not damage the town’s character. Our proposals show how to achieve these objectives.
They represent a critique of the County Council's proposed Local Development Plan and its approach to siting new homes in favour of more sustainable solutions.
